Credit Union Profile
The Greater Niagara Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1954 and is now a community credit union. It is a not-for-profit, member owned financial institution. Earnings are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and new financial products and services. The Board of Directors is the policy making and governing body of the Credit Union and is made up of volunteers, elected by the members.

Membership
Field of Membership:
Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school, volunteers, or conducts business in Niagara County.

How to Join:
To join the Credit Union, simply open a share savings account with as little as $5.00. This is your share in the Credit Union. You are immediately eligible for the many benefits of membership.

Lifetime Benefits:
“ONCE A MEMBER, ALWAYS A MEMBER”
You are welcome to remain a credit union member for life, regardless of whether you move, change jobs, or retire. You will continue to have access to the same benefits and services.
