Credit Unions for Kids is a nonprofit collaboration of credit unions, chapters, leagues/associations and business partners from across the country, engaged in fundraising activities to benefit 170 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Our Shred-It day September 17th was a big success! We had many members bring us their old documents for free on site shredding. We partnered with Heart of Niagara animal rescue and thanks to our charitable members, they left with a generous donation.
GNFCU attended the SPCA of Niagara's Barking for Bargains event this July to spread awareness about the "credit union difference". Guests who visited our tent were able to spin a prize wheel for a free gift and received information on our CU
Since its beginning in 2009, Miracle Jeans Day has raised more than $2 million to help fund life-saving medical needs for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. This event is held every September to raise money for Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation.
